Craig is one of the founding partners of the Howell & Sharp Group, a boutique financial advisory firm that provides expert counsel to Ground Control clients, be they nonprofits, family offices, corporate CEOs, or advocacy groups. Craig focuses on advising individuals, family offices, foundations, and retirement plans ranging from investment management strategies, partnerships, and strategic giving. Additionally, he utilizes the considerable global resources of Merrill Lynch to help clients create customized strategies designed to last for multiple generations.
As an advocate for community and the environment, Craig serves on the board of directors for the Michigan Trails Fund and on the advisory council for the Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities. Craig is a CFP® Certificate and holds a BA Degree from Hope College and a Masters Degree from the University of Michigan. He is married to Michele Ferenchick and has two adult children, Madeleine Sharp and Jacob Sharp. Craig speaks French and is proficient in Arabic.
