AinaFadina is a creative executive, storyteller, and innovative leader who has counseled startups and organizations across medicine, VC, and tech. She helps Ground Control develop creative digital and social media content and form partnerships for advocacy campaigns.
Aina draws upon two decades of experience in venture capital, digital health, biotech, fashion, and media, Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in the US, her far-reaching digital, media, and social presence has facilitated engagement and support for iconic brands around the globe. During her 15 years as a fashion model her clients included Oscar De La Renta, Versace, Fendi,
Alexander McQueen, Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, Sax, and Celine.
She is the founder, executive producer, and host of I of Africa, a digital series that celebrates innovative thinkers, investors, and entrepreneurs inspired by Africa through a global lens. I of Africa is currently in its 4th season of production.
Most recently, she was the Head of Platform and Investment at Atento Capital, the venture of Tulsa-based George Kaiser Family Foundation.
Aina holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and received her BS in Public Health from Temple University. She lives in New York City, enjoys music, art, and mescal. Aina speaks Yoruba.
